We thank our generous donors who support our parish and priests. We appreciate your generosity. We have no other income other than what we receive from our parishioners and all donations are gratefully received.
Your donations help us pay for our expenses:
* Power and gas for church heating
* Council rates
* Food and expenses for our Priest
* Car and fuel allowance for our Priest
* Repairs and maintenance to our two churches and the presbytery
* Wages for our administrator and office costs
* Building levy and self insurance fund
* Levy to the Diocese to help to train our emerging priests
The parish pays the same for food and clothing as does everyone else, we pay the same rates on our buildings – we don’t get any reduction – power, gas, petrol and car expenses are the same as yours. Our two churches are listed historic buildings and need regular maintenance. While we do not pay income tax, we pay the same GST, excise tax and council taxes as everyone else.
