Catholic Social Services has been operating in our diocese since 1968. Right from the beginning, the primary focus has been about providing support for families and assisting mums and dads to become great parents. CSS offer courses for parents and provide free Counselling and professional Social Support to parents and families. We know very well that positive parenting and appropriate support in the early years has long-term positive effects. Catholic Social Services receives some support from the government but most of their funding comes from grants and donations.<\/p>\n
The only support the diocese can offer CSS comes from our Catholic Caring Foundation Collection. Please consider giving generously to our Caring Foundation Appeal on July 30.<\/p>\n
